The transatlantic liners that have entered the history of navigation, the docks of ports that today only see containers, the courage to leave and the desire to tell how, in the end, they managed to make it, to guarantee a future for themselves and their children.
There is suffering and despair, but also hope and unscrupulousness.
There is generosity and selfishness, love and violence.

These are the stories of Italians who, beyond the borders of the peninsula, have sought a bit of that well-being that they did not find at home.
Or who have satisfied their desire to help others, to live an adventure, to enrich their wealth of experiences.

The meetings will enhance the role of memory through stories of emigration, sacrifice and success of ancestors, fixed points and reference points for Italian descendants in the five continents.

On a monthly basis, from June to September, moments will be organized that aim to tell the common experience of all migratory experiences, which constitute the main nucleus of the documentary selection together with the stories of travel or temporary work abroad, involving local citizens and Italian descendants.
