On the slopes of the Vettore, there is no shortage of local stories to be told and this is what keeps a territory alive… people and their stories to be known!

In the various itineraries we will immerse ourselves in the natural beauty, scents and flavors of the Apennines:

– An itinerary, a ring rich in history, ancient traditions such as those of mills, chestnut groves, its hamlets, which tell the story of a territory that has so much to tell. Along the ring we will also pass through the hamlet of Collefratta where we will get to know Mara and her activity. Who is Mara? She is a beekeeper who has her activity at about 900 meters above sea level. He will illustrate his small and important reality that is part of the BeeSafe Project followed by the Monti Sibillini National Park and WWF Italy which have the aim of conservation and defense of pollinating insects such as the Ligustica Mellifera bee of the Sibillini. Afterwards there will be a free tasting of honey to sweeten your palates!

– In the other itinerary we will walk together along the paths of Montegallo that climb through enchanting woods and historic sheep tracks of Montegallo until we reach the Lavender of the Sibillini which will await us with its magnificent colors. We will also walk on a part of the famous “Grande Anello dei Sibillini” path that branches off to the fantastic slopes of Monte Vettore, the highest peak in the entire Sibillini Mountains National Park. An excursion for adults and families characterized by the scent of the Sibillini Lavender, in full bloom, by beech woods and by the splendid views that will allow us to scrutinize the Adriatic Sea as well. This activity was created by Federico and Nicoletta, two young people from Bologna who several years ago decided to leave the city to live in the mountains. With their tenacity and their spirit of initiative, they have believed in this territory and carry on with sacrifice this splendid rebirth project for the post-earthquake. After the excursion there will be the opportunity to meet the boys at their shop to learn, from their voices, their history and visit their Dryer where they carry out the processing of this splendid flower. This is definitely an experience to be lived!

– An enchanting walk among the chestnut trees of Monte Ceresa, among the autumn colors that predominate among the beech trees and woods that are painted red, yellow and brown. Autumn to admire how the mountain is colored in one of the most beautiful periods of the year among chestnut trees, chestnut groves and mixed woods with enchanting views of Monte Vettore and the Sibillini Mountains!
